Scientific break-through to a high growth business

Context:

• Two founders approached us with a scientific breakthrough in antimicrobials

• Their new patented formulation had wide applications but they were unsure how to proceed

• We were engaged to turn the breakthrough into a high growth business

What we did:

• We developed a detailed business and growth strategy

• Set up the end-to-end supply chain to secure “Made in the USA”, “Vegan”, and “USDA organic” labels

• Built the eCommerce operation including direct to customer & marketplace sales

• Hired a top performing in-house team and trained them up to take over

Impact:

The business successfully raised funding and is on track to deliver c. $2M in revenues in the first year.
